Annual Report

Letter from the Chairman and President

As we complete a year of celebrating "15 Wildly Successful Years" at the Yellowstone Park Foundation, it has been an anniversary filled with satisfaction looking back at how far we have come. What a privileged work we all share, helping to preserve, protect and enhance the spectacular treasure we know as Yellowstone. And none of it would be possible without you.

It has been 15 strong years of your making a critical difference in so many areas that culminate in helping Yellowstone remain the leader in national park excellence. All of which leads to the most important result that of sustaining the Park in perpetuity.

We have also come a long way during this 2011-2012 fiscal year. On several pages of our Annual Report, you will see special statistics called "Impacts" that highlight some notable achievements made possible through our funding this year that include:

  • Landmark progress in cutthroat trout restoration
  • Destination Yellowstone completion at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport
  • Cultural Treasures
  • Ranger Heritage
  • Greenest Park Yellowstone's Vision for Sustainability
  • The outstanding work done by youth participating in the Yellowstone Youth Conservation Corps
  • A look at the generosity of our corporate and foundation donors
  • YPF's 15th Anniversary successes
  • Important financial highlights

It has indeed been a wildly successful year in the Yellowstone Park Foundation’s history. Your enthusiastic commitment inspires all of us at the Foundation to move forward with even greater determination to make a difference in the future of Yellowstone. With your continued help, we know we will.
