YPF’s Annual 1872 Society Weekend
October 11 - 13, 2013
Visionary leaders recognized Yellowstone’s extraordinary features and championed its designation as the world’s first national park in 1872. Today, YPF honors the distinguished group of donors who, year after year, help protect, preserve and enhance this national treasure for us all.
If you aren’t a member already, you can become a member of the 1872 Society by supporting YPF’s annual fund at a giving level of $1,000 or more.
This year’s 1872 Society Weekend will include a welcome reception in the newly-restored Old Faithful Haynes Photo Shop and ranger-led field trips. Gary Ferguson, author of several Yellowstone-related books, will be keynote speaker. As a special treat, YPF staff, guests, and guest speakers will have exclusive enjoyment of the Old Faithful Inn and dining room the night after it closes for the season.
