Yellowstone License Plate
Special Montana license plates benefit the Yellowstone Park Foundation
If you've visited Yellowstone in the past decade, you've seen it. If you live in Montana, you probably see several each day. But did you know that the Yellowstone "grizzly" license plate benefits the work of the Yellowstone Park Foundation?
The fees paid for the official Yellowstone license plate, which was introduced in 2003, come to the Yellowstone Park Foundation every month. These funds help us support many projects and programs in Yellowstone National Park.
While we don't have the opportunity to learn the names of those who purchase or renew the Yellowstone license plates, we want these individuals and businesses to know how grateful we are for their support.
Since 2003, more than $670,000 has been raised through this license plate program, and these funds have made a significant impact in Yellowstone National Park!
