Reserve now: Winter Weekend in Yellowstone
Our guide will be renowned wildlife photographer and naturalist Tom Murphy. We will start and end the trip at Mammoth Hot Springs at the North entrance to Yellowstone.
Itinerary Friday, February 8th - Those of you who arrive before the sun sets can enjoy a wildlife viewing field trip, and then we'll all join together for a tapas dinner at the Mammoth Hotel at 6:00pm. Saturday, February 9th - After breakfast at the hotel, we will board snow coaches and start our scenic journey into the park's interior. We will arrive at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge for dinner and lodging that night. Sunday, February 10th - We'll have a full day at Old Faithful to explore the geyser basin, or ski/snowshoe trails if you prefer. Tom will lead optional morning and sunset photography hike/ski field trips. Monday, February 11th - We'll return to Mammoth on snow coaches. Tuesday, February 12th (optional) - Choose to stay an additional day for wolf watching in the Lamar Valley.
