Out on a Yellowstone trail, we're captivated by our surroundings—an explosion of wildflowers, a mountain view, or an eagle in flight. PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Dear Friend:

Every Yellowstone trail is a page in history.  Most were originally game trails or seasonal migration routes for American Indians, many later becoming trade routes or wagon roads.  Some were established to reach water, natural wonders, or fire lookouts.

Today we use the trails mainly for recreation, to enjoy the Park's vistas and tucked-away treasures. read more >>
