"Yellowstone Revealed" Film Project

National parks are playing an increasingly important role in the struggle to preserve the wildness and beauty of our natural resources. The Yellowstone Park Foundation helped fund the production of "Yellowstone Revealed," a film that highlights Yellowstone's significance as the world's first national park and its role as a cornerstone for the worldwide conservation movement. Narrated by the "voice of America," Walter Cronkite, this film helps explain why the recent discovery of new life forms and the rich biological diversity of the park's hot springs are so important. A 12-minute version of "Yellowstone Revealed" is being shown at the Old Faithful Visitor Center. It is the first new film to be shown there in over thirty years. A more detailed 30-minute version of the film was made available for public distribution.

Total funds raised for the project: $126,560
